AWARDS & RECOGNITION

UCLA HONORS SAN DIEGO COUPLE FOR 10 YEARS OF COMMITMENT TO CHANCELLOR ASSOCIATES

Rancho Santa Fe, CA
January 2003
San Diego Entrepreneurs and Philanthropists Ray and Daran Grimm were honored for their on-going commitment to UCLA over the last 10 years. UCLA recognized the Grimms as Chancellors Associates at the Gold Level, a prestigious recognition for their outstanding involvement in the future growth of UCLA and its educational programs.

The Grimm's involvement with UCLA started when their daughters, Danica and Darah, both graduates of UCLA, attended the university. They made their investment based on the quality of education their daughters had received. Through the Grimms support of UCLA, the university has helped to fund scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, recruit and retain faculty, and enhance the holdings of the University Library and the Fowler Museum of Cultural History.

The Grimm's commitment along with that of the other Chancellors Associates and friends, enables UCLA to produce some of the countries finest college graduates entrepreneurs and decision makers of tomorrow who will lead the way in meeting the challenges of this century.
